RTÉ 2XM is a digital radio station operated by Ireland's public broadcaster, Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ). Launched in December 2008, it focuses on alternative and independent music, featuring genres such as rock, indie, metal, electronica, and nu-metal. The station also emphasizes homegrown Irish artists, providing a platform for emerging and established talent.

Listeners can access RTÉ 2XM through various platforms, including the RTÉ Radio App, the RTÉ website, and on Saorview, Ireland's free-to-air digital terrestrial television service, where it is available on Channel 206. Additionally, the station can be found on Virgin Media Channel 944.
