Athlone Community Radio 88.4 FM is a not-for-profit, volunteer-led community development project based in Athlone, County Westmeath, Ireland. Established to facilitate equal access to media, it empowers community members to become creative contributors rather than passive listeners.
The station's mission is to entertain, engage, and inform its listenership through activities and programming based on community ownership, access, and participation. It reflects the special interests and needs of the Athlone community, aligning with the community ethos of the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI) licence and the AMARC charter.
